Chocolate and Peanutbutter Acorns - from 50 Shades of Fall Pinterest Party

It's cold, rainy, Thursday and October.  Could there be any better reason to stay indoors today and make Peanutbutter Chocolate Acorns? We knew you'd agree.  Unless you're.... well, a little... squirrelly.
Chocolate and Peanutbutter Acorns

This is a fun, festive Fall recipe to get the kiddos involved with - and a crowd pleaser to boot.  Our 50 Shades of Fall Pinterest guests went nuts over these.  (Sorry, couldn't resist...)
You'll need:
- Bag of Hershey's Kisses
- Bag of Mini Nutterbutter cookies
- Can of chocolate frosting (can also use melted chocolate chips in place of canned frosting)
- Bag of mini chocolate chips
  1. First, spread thin layer of chocolate frosting (or melted chocolate chips) on one end of a Nutterbutter cookie.  This is the "glue" for the Hershey's kiss.
  2. Then, "stick" one Hershey's kiss to the Nutterbutter cookie.
  3. Next, dab a bit of frosting onto the opposite side of the mini Nutterbutter and apply mini chocolate chip.
  4. Ta-daaaah!  Acorn!

Warning: these are entirely poppable.  As in tic-tac poppable.  We suggest squirrelling a few away in the freezer... for later...

Enjoy!
